Christmas Eve At Oma's & Christmas Day with Aunt Marty!

Christmas Eve we always go to my mom's for dinner, gifts and family time. We had a fun time eating, playing games, and enjoying the Christmas story being acted out by our precious little ones! We watched the story of the Christmas orange and cried! It was good to see everyone. Next year the only difference will be pictures of Berni and Damon on the wall :) Photo session coming up!!

After we enjoy time with Mom and John we load up and head to Appomattox to Aunt Marty's house! We ate some more and laughed a lot! We were greeted Christmas morning with some ice and Granny Fanny and PaPa Neb didn't come for breakfast. But never fear... PaPa Neb left me some oysters in the fridge to make oyster stew. Though it wasn't the same all you had to do was add some pepper and it got better!

Normally, we leave Marty's at lunch and head to Richmond but plans changed this year so we got an extra night at Marty's before heading home. We took advantage of the extra time and invited ourselves over to Bobby and Allison Maxwell's for dinner! They have a beautiful home that will more than likely host my next girls retreat!! The kids had a great time and there is nothing better than catching up with good friends!

Enjoy the pictures!

Christmas Day we had a Marvelous visit with Bobby, Allison & Peyton. Allison made some amazing bread and pasta dishes and we enjoyed rolling down memory lane with pictures! It is so wonderful to know that God can take our lives and flip them upside down for His Glory! And we are pretty beautiful people still, we haven't aged a day in 10 years!!
